  • THE MINI SUBSCRIPTION

    With a MINI subscription, you have more time for the important things in life.
    The MINI subscription offers a wide range of MINI models from MINI partners - all-inclusive.
    We'll take care of all your MINI related services for you.
    The monthly rate, which includes all costs except refuelling, remains the same for you.
  • MINI SUBSCRIPTION PARTNER

    A MINI subscription partner is certified by us through a selection process. Via the MINI subscription partner your booked vehicle will be handed over to you by trained employees. Your MINI subscription partner is also your contact for questions about the service.
  • WHO CAN SUBSCRIBE TO A MINI VEHICLE?

    Any private person or company resident in Switzerland can subscribe to a MINI with our MINI subscription.

    The following should be noted
    • For vehicles with less than 285 hp, you must have been in possession of a driver's license for more than 2 years without interruption and have a minimum age of 21.
    • For vehicles over 285 HP, you must be at least 30 years old and have a driver's license for at least 5 years without interruption.
    • Your MINI may also be driven by people living in your household.
    • However, they must have held their driver's license for at least 2 years without interruption. Additional drivers must be registered with us by you.
    • You must also have a verified identity and a good credit rating.
    • Subscription vehicles may only be driven by company subscribers by registered and authorized employees.
  • VEHICLES

    With the MINI subscription you will find exclusively new cars and as good as new MINI with an age of up to 2 years or a mileage of up to 25.000 km offered. The MINI you have booked as a subscription corresponds exactly to the vehicle description provided and is available within a few days.

HOW THE MINI SUBSCRIPTION WORKS

  • BOOKING PROCESS

    1. Your booking is made exclusively online at www.mini-abo.ch.
    2. You choose your desired model and the mileage package you need. By the way: You can change the kilometer package monthly, free of charge.
    3. You enter your personal data.
    4. After you have checked your data, click on book
    5. Upon receipt of your booking, we will make an appointment with your MINI Abo dealer and send you a confirmed date on which you can pick up your car.
  • SUBSCRIPTION PERIODS

    With the MINI car subscription you have no term, just a 3 month notice period. You can drive the vehicle for up to 24 months.

  • NOTICE PERIOD

    Your cancellation period is 3 calendar months from the date of your subscription. A legally binding cancellation requires the written form by e-mail or by letter to

  • VEHICLE AVAILABILITY

    Your MINI in a car subscription is available immediately. After booking, your MINI subscription simply needs to be registered and prepared. This takes a few working days.
  • VEHICLE COLLECTION

    After consultation with the MINI subscription partner, we will inform you of the date of delivery and the location of your MINI in the subscription. Unless otherwise specified in the booking agreement, you will collect the vehicle from the MINI subscription partner at your own expense. Please note the following when picking up your MINI.

    • Bring a valid identity card and your valid driver's license to the handover.
    • The vehicle has enough fuel or is loaded enough for you to drive 100 km.
    • The condition of your MINI will be documented in writing and in pictures at the time of delivery to avoid misunderstandings. Please check for any visual defects yourself.
  • VEHICLE RETURN

    As soon as you have given notice, we will make an appointment with the MINI Partner for you to return the vehicle and let you know. After your notice period has expired, you still have 5 working days to return your MINI to the MINI Partner.

    The MINI must be cleaned inside and out before you return it. The return of your MINI is also documented. The return protocol will be signed by mutual agreement. Please inform the MINI Partner of any damage caused by you.

  • CHANGE OF PERSONAL DATA

    If there are any changes to the data below, please report them immediately to support@mini-abo.ch.

COSTS AND PAYMENTS

  • START-UP CHARGES

    A one-time entry fee of CHF 299.- is charged for each booking. This is for the provision and delivery of the vehicle. If you would like to change your MINI subscription, you must terminate the subscription with 3 months' notice and book your new dream model.
  • SECURITY DEPOSIT

    In the event of a delay in payment, we will retain a deposit of one monthly installment for security reasons. If all contractual objects are observed during the subscription period, the deposit will of course be returned at the end of the MINI subscription period.
  • MILEAGE PACKAGES

    You can choose from five different mileage packages
    • S (500 km/month),
    • M (800 km/month),
    • L (1,250 km/month),
    • XL (1,500 km/month), or
    • XXL (2,000 km/month).
    The mileage package can be changed monthly free of charge.
  • SERVICES INCLUDED

    Your MINI Subscription package price includes all costs except refuelling/recharging.
    • maintenance, wear and tear,
    • fully comprehensive and partial comprehensive insurance,
    • seasonal tyres,
    • motor vehicle tax,
    • motorway vignette.
    Depending on the selected mileage package you pay the corresponding monthly price.

    You pay the costs for liquids like
    • fuel,
    • AdBlue (diesel additive),
    • wiper water, and
    • oil
    when refilling.
    Furthermore you take over
    • fines,
    • foreign motorway tolls, and
    • parking costs.
  • MILEAGE BILLING

    With the help of kilometer data, your driven kilometers are logged directly from the vehicle and billed monthly. If you drive less in one month, they will be credited to you the next month. More driven kilometers are also billed monthly. You can find more information on this in the customer login. 
    The mileage taken is used exclusively to bill your driven kilometers and will not be passed on to third parties.
  • EXTRA KILOMETRES

    If you drive more kilometers per month than your kilometer package includes, each additional kilometer will be added to the monthly price.

    The price of the additional kilometers is shown in the vehicle description.
    However, you can change the mileage package free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of your new subscription cycle.
  • CREDIT CHECK

    In order to be able to subscribe to a vehicle with us, a credit assessment is carried out. This way we find out whether you will be a reliable subscriber and you are thus protected from unwanted indebtedness.
  • PAYMENT METHODS

    Your payments can currently only be made by credit card.

INCLUSIVE SERVICES IN DETAIL

  • VEHICLE REGISTRATION COSTS

    The registration costs are already included in your subscription price. This is carried out by the MINI partner.
  • MAINTENANCE & WEAR

    Repairs, modifications to your MINI and inspections can be carried out by a MINI Partner in your area with the written consent of ViveLaCar. We will be happy to name one in your area. We will cover the costs for you.
  • YOUR INSURANCE PACKAGE

    There is a liability, partial and fully comprehensive insurance. The cost of the excess for liability insurance is CHF 1'000.- for drivers up to 26 years of age and CHF 0.- for drivers over 26 years of age. For fully comprehensive insurance, the excess is CHF 1'000.- for collision events and parking damage, and CHF 300.- for all drivers.

    IMPORTANT: Any damage to the vehicle must be reported immediately to schaden@vivelacar.ch.
    The insurance conditions for the Allianz motor vehicle insurance apply, which will be provided to you on request before the booking is completed.

    You may drive your MINI throughout Switzerland and in the following countries: Principality of Liechtenstein as well as in Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Macedonia, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Serbia-Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, also in countries not listed, where the Swiss licence plate is recognized as proof of insurance according to international agreements. In the non-European areas of these countries the insurance cover does not apply, except for Turkey and Cyprus.
  • SEASONAL TYRES

    We ensure the year-round tires, as well as tire changes due to wear or weather, at our discretion. You want to change from summer to winter tires? Please notify us 4 weeks before mounting.
  • MOTOR VEHICLE TAX

    We take care of the payment of the motor vehicle tax of your MINI.

WHAT IS STILL TO BE CONSIDERED.

  • SMOKING

    Smoking is strictly prohibited in the vehicle. No cigarettes, cigars, pipes or e-cigarettes are allowed. 
    In case of an offence, CHF 300.- will be charged.
  • PETS

    You may bring pets in your MINI. However, make sure that they do not leave any damage in or on the car and that you have removed all traces (hair, etc.) before returning the vehicle.
  • MODIFICATIONS

    You may not make any technical or optical changes to the MINI (e.g. affixing stickers, conversions or vehicle tuning). This does not apply to manufacturer-initiated recall actions. In this case we will provide you with another vehicle.
  • ADDITIONAL DRIVER

    Il vostro veicolo può essere guidato da tutti i parenti di primo grado (genitori, figli), dal vostro coniuge, dal vostro convivente o dal vostro partner illegittimo, se hanno la vostra stessa residenza (terzi autorizzati ad utilizzarlo).
    Altre persone possono utilizzare la tua MINI solo con il previo consenso scritto di ViveLaCar (Conducente autorizzato di terze parti). In questo caso devono essere soddisfatte le stesse condizioni. 
    Perché non tenete un registro condiviso che viene conservato nel vano portaoggetti del vostro veicolo? Poi potete tenere sempre sotto controllo la situazione e dirci chi ha guidato il vostro veicolo a che ora.

EMERGENCIES AND EXCEPTIONAL SITUATIONS

  • FINES

    Fines and warnings are at your own expense. Since we receive the fine notice and it is forwarded to you, we charge a processing fee of CHF 20.-, which is in addition to the fine. The fine including CHF 20.- processing fee will be charged to your account via credit card.
  • ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

    If you have a breakdown or a technical problem, please contact one of our MINI service staff immediately on +41 844 85 75 75. He will organize help and ensure that you are back on the road as soon as possible.
  • ACCIDENT

    In case of an accident, first of all make sure that you and your passengers are all right. Then contact the rescue service and the police. 
    In the event of an accident involving a third party, call the police immediately.
    Document the course of the damage, the cause of the damage and the expected extent of the damage including photos and send everything to
    schaden@vivelacar.ch.
  • CONTACT DETAILS FOR DAMAGE REPORTS

    Please send the completed accident report, vehicle identification card, handover certificate of the vehicle as well as pictures of the damage (if available the return report), the damage information/notification of the Allianz and if necessary a police report immediately by e-mail to schaden@vivelacar.ch.
  • LOSS OF DRIVING PRIVILEGES

    If you or an authorized driver lose your driver's license during the term of validity, proceed as follows
    • If an authorized driver loses his license, nothing changes for you as a subscriber. However, the additional driver is no longer allowed to drive your MINI.
    • If you as a subscriber lose your driver's license, you will continue to pay your monthly subscription. This incident automatically triggers a cancellation with 3 months' notice.
    • You undertake to inform us immediately if you or an authorized driver lose your license and to strictly refrain from driving the vehicle during this period.
